Michigan workers compensation lawyer reminds construction workers about the danger of falls in the workplace.
The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has an ongoing campaign to prevent deadly falls in the construction industry. In 2010, statistics show that more than 10,000 construction workers were killed or injured as a result of falling while working from heights. OSHA recommends that falls can be prevented and lives saved through three simple steps.
1. PLAN ahead to get the job done safely.
2. PROVIDE the right equipment.
3. TRAIN everyone to use the equipment safely
