Michigan workers compensation lawyer comments on disturbing statistics for the first six months of 2013.
We blogged yesterday about the types of awards that a magistrate can order. Now let’s talk about actual statistics for 2013.
Statistics show 6 open awards, 11 closed awards, and 31 denials. This means your chance of recovering some benefits at trial is approximately 54%.
We find it disturbing that only 6 people in 2013 have been granted continuing benefits. This is most likely related to changes in the law that have made it more difficult to prove disability.
