Magistrate Appointments/Reappointments Announced

Governor Gretchen Whitmer makes appointments/reappointments to the Workers’ Compensation Board of Magistrates.

Governor Whitmer has appointed David DeGraw, Michael Heck, Philip Della Santina, Emil Louis Ognisanti, Chris Slater, Luke McMurray, and David Grunewald to the Workers’ Compensation Board of Magistrates. Each will serve for a term expiring January 26, 2023.

The Board of Magistrates consists of 14 members and hears cases regarding any dispute that arises under the Michigan Worker’s Disability Compensation Act of 1969. The appointments and reappointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
