Gordon Jay Quist, of Grand Rapids, is named chairman of the Workers Compensation Board of Magistrates. He has been a magistrate for five years. The appointment as chair is made by the governor from the 10 person committee.
Lisa Klaeren, of Kalamazoo, served as a magistrate since 2008 and is reappointed to serve a four-year term expiring January 26, 2015. She previously served as a senior staff attorney for Hartford Insurance.
Beatrice Logan, of Southfield, is reappointed to a four-year term expiring January 26, 2015. She previously served for a private practice and as an attorney for Goodman, Eden, Millender and Bedrosian in Detroit.
Louis Agnosanti, of Saginaw, is newly appointed to a four-year term expiring January 26, 2015. He worked as an attorney with the Braun Kendrick Finkbeiner, P.L.C. in Saginaw.
Carol Guyton, of Detroit, is newly appointed to a four-year term expiring January 26, 2015. She served on the Board of Magistrates from 1999-2010. She previously worked as an attorney for Wausau Insurance Co. and Travelers Insurance Co.
Chris D. Slater, of Spring Lake, is newly appointed to a four-year term expiring January 26, 2015. He previously practiced law in Spring Lake. He has specialized in worker’s compensation issues with various Muskegon law firms since 1990.
