Recognizing the contribution physical therapists make to individuals on workers’ compensation.
October is National Physical Therapy Month. We thought it would be nice to recognize the contribution these healthcare professionals make to people on workers’ compensation.
Physical therapists are highly educated and licensed healthcare professionals. Treatment occurs in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and even in private homes.
Physical therapy is covered under workers’ compensation if prescribed by a doctor. It must be given by a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Many of our clients have benefited tremendously from physical therapy. They experience less pain, restored function, and greater mobility. Surgery can be avoided and less prescription medication is needed. Physical therapists also educate our clients on how to avoid future problems.
Michigan Workers Comp Lawyers never charges a fee to evaluate a potential case. Our law firm has represented injured and disabled workers exclusively for more than 35 years. Call (855) 221-2667 for a free consultation today.
