Reddit posts shows real-life examples of danger in the workplace and why it is no laughing matter.

Statistics published by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) show one in five (21.4%) worker deaths in 2015 were in construction. More than half (64.2%) of these fatalities were from falls, followed by struck by object, electrocution, and caught-in/between. These are known as the “fatal four.”

Michigan has already seen 13 deaths this year. Preliminary details show all of them could be classified as in the fatal four. We encourage all employees to reach out to MIOSHA and report safety violations before someone gets hurt.

Here are some outrageous examples taken from r/OSHA that illustrate dangers associated with the fatal four. We hope these examples help build hazard awareness.
